The Challenge

In March 2020 C4S Search was deeply hit by the COVID19 pandemic, organisations stopped recruiting overnight and as such C4S Search saw their business plummet literally within hours of the Government announcement to lockdown. Ryan O’Hara, Managing Director & Co-Founder of C4S Search engaged DBKT Coaching for Executive Coaching to get support in overcoming the challenges the pandemic had brought, to rethink and reimage the business in order to bounce back stronger and accelerate the ambitious business growth and scale up plans C4S had.

The Solution

Kathryn our Executive Leadership Coach had six 1-1 coaching sessions with Ryan, taking a future focussed and goal-oriented approach, using a range of techniques to get Ryan thinking more creatively. Kathryn shared feedback and insights to gently challenge Ryan in his thinking to create deeper learning and innovative outcomes for the business. Part of the coaching was to support Ryan in developing his leadership team. As such, Kathryn was further engaged to run a day’s action learning session with the leadership team to develop their skills and connect them as a leadership team. As a result, the team developed new values for the organisation and agreed on ways of working together to progress their important work. C4S Search’s come back following the pandemic has been awe-inspiring to see and DBKT Coaching is super proud to have played a small part in their huge success.
